Your role
As a Technical Support Engineer, you are the face of the IT department and often the first point of contact for colleagues within the HKS Group. You get energised by helping people and ensure that users are supported quickly and professionally with IT issues.
You provide remote and on-site support, manage user accounts and IT resources, and ensure that new colleagues get off to a good start. Thanks to your communication skills, you can explain technical information in an understandable way and create a positive user experience.
In addition to resolving queries and issues, you contribute to the improvement of processes, documentation, and working methods. You work closely with colleagues within IT and the business, making a significant contribution to a reliable and user-friendly IT environment.
What are your main tasks?
- Providing users with support for IT issues, both remotely and on-site.
- Managing user accounts, access rights, and IT resources.
- Providing onboarding and IT provisions for new employees.
- Installation, configuration, and deployment of IT equipment.
- Drafting user manuals and documentation.
- Identifying improvements and contributing to an optimal user experience.

Your profile
- At least a completed MBO qualification (level 4), preferably in the field of ICT.
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft 365, Teams, and ERP systems.
- Good communication skills in Dutch and English.
- You get energy from helping people and are strongly service-oriented.
- You are a good listener, ask clarifying questions and know how to convey technical information in an understandable way.
- You are independent, solution-oriented and take initiative.
- You work accurately and stay organised, even when multiple queries come in at the same time.
