Your role

As a Technical Support Engineer, you are the face of the IT department and often the first point of contact for colleagues within the HKS Group. You get energised by helping people and ensure that users are supported quickly and professionally with IT issues.

You provide remote and on-site support, manage user accounts and IT resources, and ensure that new colleagues get off to a good start. Thanks to your communication skills, you can explain technical information in an understandable way and create a positive user experience.

In addition to resolving queries and issues, you contribute to the improvement of processes, documentation, and working methods. You work closely with colleagues within IT and the business, making a significant contribution to a reliable and user-friendly IT environment.

What are your main tasks?

  • Providing users with support for IT issues, both remotely and on-site.
  • Managing user accounts, access rights, and IT resources.
  • Providing onboarding and IT provisions for new employees.
  • Installation, configuration, and deployment of IT equipment.
  • Drafting user manuals and documentation.
  • Identifying improvements and contributing to an optimal user experience.

  • At least a completed MBO qualification (level 4), preferably in the field of ICT.

  • You are a good listener, ask clarifying questions and know how to convey technical information in an understandable way.

Your role

Together with your colleagues from the Technical Department, you ensure that our machines and rolling stock keep running. If there is a breakdown in an installation, crane, shredder or other machine, then you are the one who solves it. Mechanical, hydraulic or electrical engineering – you're up for it. You carry out repairs, overhauls and modifications, and ensure that everything runs safely and reliably again.

We are looking for mechanics who enjoy tinkering. People who don't mind lying under a machine, getting up with dirty hands, and just tackling a fault. You are someone who gets energised by technology, who likes to be hands-on and who doesn't stop until the problem is solved.

With your technical background, you think in terms of solutions. You plan your work well and maintain an overview. Additionally, you contribute to improvements to our installations and equipment. Do you have ideas to make things smarter or better? At HKS, you'll also have the freedom to get started on those yourself.

What are your main tasks?

  • Locating and resolving mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical faults in machines and installations.
  • Performing preventive maintenance, repairs and overhauls on machine lines and rolling stock.
  • Implementing technical adjustments and improvements to installations and equipment.
  • Identifying recurring faults and proposing structural solutions.
  • Assisting with the installation and commissioning of new machinery or technical installations.

Working alongside your colleagues, you, as a Maintenance Technician, are responsible for keeping all machine lines and rolling stock operational. You will resolve mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical faults on all equipment at the site, as well as carrying out modifications, repairs, and overhauls. It is your job to ensure that your colleagues can carry out their work with properly functioning and safe equipment.

With your technical background, you possess problem-solving skills, are good at planning, and have strong organisational talent. You actively.

Your role

As a Crane Operator / Forklift Driver, you ensure that various materials are safely and efficiently unloaded, moved and sorted on our site. You operate the crane and forklift and work together with your colleagues to ensure the process runs smoothly.

But your role goes beyond just operating machinery. You will increasingly delve into non-ferrous metals, such as copper, aluminium and stainless steel. You will learn how to recognise, assess and properly sort different metals.

Don't you have that knowledge yet? No problem. We will train you internally at HKS to become a Non-Ferro Specialist.

What are your main tasks?

  • Operating the crane and fork-lift truck;
  • Loading, unloading and moving various metals;
  • Sorting materials and putting them in the right place;
  • Assisting customers with loading and unloading;
  • Checking incoming materials;
  • Increasingly learning to recognise and assess different non-ferrous metals;
  • Ensuring a safe, tidy and well-organised working environment;
  • Collaborating with your colleagues on the site and in the office.

Your role

As a Crane Operator / Inspector at HKS Nijmegen, you are an important link in the daily operation at our yard. You combine working with machinery with assessing material flows.

With your mobile crane, you ensure that all incoming material is efficiently unloaded, sorted, and prepared for further processing. You are responsible for the storage and transhipment of metals, loading and unloading lorries, and carefully loading our heavy machinery. Thanks to your craftsmanship, the material flow remains smooth and safe. You carry out minor maintenance on your machine, actively contribute ideas for process improvements, and step in where needed.

In addition, you ensure that incoming metals are unloaded, inspected, and sorted efficiently, and that the quality of the materials meets the set standards. You will work with modern digital inspection techniques and have regular contact with customers and suppliers on the site.

Do you already have experience in assessing, approving, and sorting metals? If so, that's a great asset. If not, we will train you internally so you can master this quickly.
