Your role

In this dynamic role, you will be responsible for planning and coordinating transport orders for various metals, both nationally and internationally. This may involve transport by truck, ship, or sea container. You will liaise daily with customers, fellow planners, hauliers, forwarders, sales, branches, and other internal and external stakeholders.

Your aim? To ensure everything runs as efficiently, accurately, and safely as possible. In addition, you are responsible for the correct administrative processing and reporting of the work carried out.

What are your main tasks?

  • Scheduling transport orders.
  • Coordinating transporters and freight forwarders.
  • Liaising with internal and external stakeholders for a seamless supply chain.
  • Administrative preparation, handling and reporting of transports.
  • Act as a point of contact for customers and hauliers.
  • Actively advising on opportunities for improvement.

Your profile

  • Completed higher professional education (HBO), preferably in logistics.
  • Proficient with computer systems and administrative processes.
  • Good command of the Dutch and English languages (German is a plus).
  • Affinity with transport and supply chain management.
  • Knowledge of the laws and regulations regarding the transport of waste materials is an advantage.
  • Strong organisational and problem-solving skills.
  • Resilient, flexible, and a real team player.
