Employee Technical Service
Are you a hands-on, dedicated technician who wants to work with modern machinery in a company that truly contributes to a sustainable future? At HKS, everything revolves around recycling: recovering valuable raw materials from metal and electronics. As a Maintenance Technician, you'll ensure our installations keep running optimally and play a key role in the success of our production.
Why work at HKS?
Teamwork, personal development and innovation are woven into the culture of HKS. Working at HKS means plenty of opportunities, with consideration given to your personal development and growth ambitions.
Do you want to work together towards a safe and sustainable future, while also achieving your professional ambitions? Then come and work at HKS and make a difference every day at the market leader in metal recycling! HKS is part of the Remondis/Rethmann group.
Your role
You are the indispensable link that ensures our modern machinery is always up and running. No two days are the same: one moment you are expertly diagnosing and resolving a mechanical or electrical fault, the next you are carrying out a repair or replacement so the installation functions like new again. You also deal with preventative maintenance to avoid faults as much as possible, and contribute to overhauls and improvements of our machines. This way, you ensure that we can continue to produce more smartly and sustainably.
You work a lot independently and are given the freedom to organise your own work, but you are never on your own. You regularly liaise with colleagues in production and the technical service department, and manage external parties where necessary. Whatever you do, you always keep an eye on safety, quality, and continuity. Thanks to your efforts, processes run smoothly, and you make a direct contribution to the success of our production and, consequently, to the circular economy. In this role, you work in a two-shift system.
