Your role

As a Junior Operator, you will work with your colleagues to ensure the production process runs smoothly. You will identify malfunctions and problems that affect the process, environment, or safety. Additionally, you will carry out standard and extra sampling and checks when necessary. You will also keep the machine lines clean and tidy, and ensure a safe working environment.

At HKS, we process metals and recover plastics using modern installations. For this, we even use a unique installation that can't be found anywhere else in Europe. Thanks in part to your important contribution, this special process continues to run smoothly.

To ensure that our production continues to run smoothly day in, day out, you’ll work alongside your colleagues on a two-shift rota. Together, you’ll ensure that the plant continues to perform at its best. Of course, you won’t be on your own: we’ll actively support you in your development and offer you plenty of opportunities to progress to become a fully-fledged operator.

What are your main tasks?

  • Keeping the production environment and machine lines clean.;
  • Performing standard checks, samples, and additional checks where necessary;
  • Supporting operators with daily tasks;
  • Reporting faults, pollution or unsafe situations.;
  • Ensuring a tidy and safe working environment;
  • Carrying out light operational tasks around production;
  • Assisting with the maintenance of installations and production lines.

Your profile

  • You enjoy working in a production environment;
  • You are eager to learn and keen to develop yourself.;
  • You are physically fit and enjoy active work.;
  • In possession of a forklift certificate, or you can obtain one through us;
  • You work neatly, safely, and in a structured manner.;
  • You can work independently but are also a team player;
  • Experience in production, logistics or engineering is a definite plus.
