Your role

As a trader in our Non-Ferro team, you will maintain strong and honest client relationships internationally. You will also be expected to be (co-)responsible for the risk management of the commodities you trade. The London Metal Exchange will also be used for this purpose. It is of great importance that you are capable of taking initiative and demonstrating entrepreneurship in your actions, not only seeing the big picture but also keeping an eye on the details. You operate effortlessly at different levels of communication, enabling you to effectively switch between strategic decision-making and operational execution.

What are your main tasks?

Managing current commercial relationships. These primarily involve traders and smelters in Europe and Asia at present. This occasionally entails international travel.
Business development.
To maintain control of the risk management of your assigned trade book at all times.
Actively participate in the development of the Non-Ferro strategy and be able to translate it into practical actions.

Your profile

A completed Bachelor's degree (HBO level) in a commercial field, as a minimum.
We are open to talent with 0 to 4 years of relevant work experience.
Relevant work experience preferred. Experience in international commodity trading, metal recycling, and knowledge of hedging is a plus.
Excellent communication skills in Dutch, English and German.
An entrepreneurial mindset, with the necessary decisiveness, courage, and creativity. .
Integrity and ability to communicate and build relationships effectively at all organisational levels.
