Your role

As an Account Manager, you will maintain strong customer relationships with integrity, ensuring that the relationship between customer and yard is always maintained. It is of great importance that you are able to take initiative and show leadership in your actions, not only seeing the big picture, but also not losing sight of the details. You operate effortlessly at different levels of communication, allowing you to switch effectively between strategic decision-making and operational execution.

What are your main tasks?

  • Proactively approach, build and develop customer relationships, especially in the recycling, government, and industry sectors.
  • Advising customers on separation, disposal, and processing of metal waste.
  • Bring in and retain customers, with strategic plans to increase sales.
  • Stress-resistant switching between different tasks and solving customer problems under pressure.

Your profile

  • Graduate or bachelor's degree in a commercial field.
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant work experience, preferably in the recycling industry.
  • Knowledge of metals and experience in a commercial role.
  • Excellent communication skills in Dutch, English and preferably French.
  • An entrepreneurial mindset, with the necessary boldness, guts and creativity to achieve commercial success.
  • Integrity and ability to communicate and build relationships effectively at all organisational levels.
